Akshobh Giridharadas is the Media Arts Director, and Principal (Founder) at Perspicacity Media LLC and a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and a Policy Communications professional at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), based out of Washington DC. A journalist by profession, Akshobh Giridharadas was based out of Singapore as a reporter and producer with Channel News Asia, Singapore covering international business news. He writes on diverse topics such as geopolitics, business, tech and sports. His previous endeavors include working at ESPN STAR and FOX networks. He is a two time TEDx and Toastmasters public speaker and is a graduate from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts having specialized in international affairs.

Journalism has become anachronistic in nature. In an era defined by a fast-changing economy and disruptive new technological innovation, the journalism industry has been caught off guard in some of its archaic business models. Various news outlets are finding that content has become a cheap commodity as they struggle to monetize their work. The same technology that has proliferated news and journalism has ironically disrupted the industry. The watchdog or the fourth estate of democracy that's meant to keep a watch on the other three estates, now finds its very foundations threatened.

Brandon Duke

Brandon Duke has spent 20 years working in broadcasting & video in Atlanta for small companies, large corporations, and the occasional short film project. In 2016, he launched his own company, Karkata Media, as a way to give a voice to various creative people and philanthropic organizations around the Atlanta community. He is also the co-host & co-producer of the Scratch Claw Push podcast, which highlights creatives of all kinds and how they make opportunities for themselves and others.
