Akshobh Giridharadas is the Media Arts Director, and Principal (Founder) at Perspicacity Media LLC and a Visiting Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and a Policy Communications professional at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), based out of Washington DC. A journalist by profession, Akshobh Giridharadas was based out of Singapore as a reporter and producer with Channel News Asia, Singapore covering international business news. He writes on diverse topics such as geopolitics, business, tech and sports. His previous endeavors include working at ESPN STAR and FOX networks. He is a two time TEDx and Toastmasters public speaker and is a graduate from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Tufts having specialized in international affairs.

Karkata Media was founded by Brandon Duke, who spent 20 years working in television, 18 of those spent as a broadcast coordinator with the many various networks of Turner Broadcasting (now part of Warner Bros. Discovery).

In addition to his years in broadcasting, Brandon also worked on short film and video projects on the side, until one day he launched Karkata Media as a vehicle for his greater storytelling ambitions — giving artists, philanthropists, and craftsmen working to better our communities a voice.

In addition to his production work, he has also done some voice acting for such audio-dramas as The Control Group and Under Dead Water (a spinoff of the sci-fi horror podcast, Mandible Judy). His voice also appears as several characters for the audiobook for Issaura’s Claws by Katharine E. Wibell (which he also directed, edited, and did sound design).
